Public Hours

Tuesday to Thursday, 10 am to 4 pm, by-appointment only, excluding statutory holidays

Please book your appointment at least 24 business hours in advance by using this link. 

Unscheduled visits are not permitted at this time.

Location

The Museum Archives is located within the Richard Wernham and Julia West Library; by-appointment access is through the ROM's Staff Entrance, off Queens Park, next to the President’s Choice School Entrance.   Following sign-in with Security, you will be escorted to the Library and Archives by a member of our staff.  Please wear a face mask and respect social distancing.

Unscheduled visits are not permitted at this time.

Finding Aids

There are several finding aids for the Archives; users may consult them in the Reading Room in the Richard Wernham and Julia West Library.  For the Special Collections holdings, click here for an alphabetical list that includes links to detailed descriptions or finding aids where available.

Researchers are encouraged to contact our staff ahead of their intended visit so that we can assure the availability of resources.
